Overview
WalkPadLog is built with a local-only storage model. There is no external data transmission and no sharing of personal information.
Data Collection
WalkPadLog does not collect any data. There are no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party services integrated into the app.
Data Storage
Walking sessions and your preferences remain exclusively on your device in sandboxed app storage. No internet connection is required.
Apple Health Integration
If you enable Apple Health integration, WalkPadLog writes workout data, step counts, distance, and calories to HealthKit. Optionally, WalkPadLog can read your body weight from Apple Health to personalize the calorie calculation — this read permission is requested separately and only when you turn on the corresponding sync toggle in Settings. You can disable both write and read access anytime in Settings or delete the shared data through Apple's Health app.
Notifications
If you enable reminders, WalkPadLog schedules local notifications directly on your device. No notification data is sent to any server.
Third-Party Services
WalkPadLog exclusively uses Apple's native frameworks (HealthKit, UserNotifications). No third-party libraries or external services are integrated.
Children's Privacy
The app contains no objectionable content and carries a 4+ age rating.
Data Deletion
Uninstalling the app removes all local data. To delete HealthKit entries, go to the Health app → Profile → Apps → WalkPadLog → Delete All Data.
